Soil Science Society of China at 15th International Conference of the East and Southeast Asia Federation of Soil Science Societies (ESAFS 2022)

From 22 to 26 August 2022, the 15th International Conference of the East and Southeast Asia Federation of Soil Science Societies (ESAFS 2022) was organized by the Malaysian Society of Soil Science (MSSS) at Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia under the theme of “Our Soils Our Future”.

Prof. Jing Che attended the ESAFS 2022 on behalf of the Soil Science Society of China (SSSC). On 23 August, Prof. Che chaired the Oral Session 3 “Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition”, and took part in the business meeting of the ESAFS 2022 during which he expressed the hope that ESAFS members will support and attend the World Congress of Soil Science 2026 in Nanjing, China. He presented the country report which detailed our Society’s activities over the past three years in the areas of the academia, international collaboration and exchanges, personnel reorganization and awards, and science popularization in the past three years. Through active engagement in international conferences, the SSSC wishes to share its experience and knowledge and extend cooperation with soil organizations and scientists from countries in East and Southeast Asia and beyond.
