The 2021 Yangling International Agri-Science Forum was inaugurated in Shaanxi Province
On October 22, 2021, the Yangling International Agri-Science Forum, which was themed “Rural Revitalization: Theory · Policy · Practice”, was inaugurated by “Online+Offline”, at the Northwest A&F University, Yangling, Shaanxi. The Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (ISWC) undertook one of the parallel sessions: Ecological Governance and Beautiful Countryside. At the three-day session, the forum held 94 scholars as participants who were from 62 organizations spread across 19 countries.

The IUSS Dan Yaalon Young Scientist Medal was awarded to Two Chinese Soil Scientists
On 1 February 2022, the website of the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) announced the winners of the second IUSS Dan Yaalon Young Scientist Medal. Two young Chinese soil scientists, Yuxin Ma (Manaaki Whenua-Landcare Research) and Songchao Chen (ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Center), won this prestigious award. They are expected to present at the 22nd World Congress of Soil Science this coming July at Glasgow.
