Call for Session Proposals on 23rd WCSS

The 23rd World Congress of Soil Science (23rd WCSS) is a premier global event that brings together leading experts, researchers, and professionals in soil science to share cutting-edge knowledge, promote innovative solutions, and foster collaboration across multiple disciplines. The Organizing Committee of 23rd WCSS is calling for proposals for scientific sessions to be conducted during the congress, scheduled to occur in Nanjing from June 7 to 12, 2026.

Session Proposal Guidelines

We invite session proposals on a broad range of topics related to soil science, including but not limited to:

Proposal Submission Details

- Session Title: Provide a concise and clear title for the session.

- Session Organizers: List the names, affiliations, and contact details of the session organizers. Indicate the primary contact person.

- Session Description: A brief description (up to 300 words) that outlines the scope and relevance of the session.

- Relevance: Explain how the session aligns with the overall theme of the congress and addresses key challenges or innovations in soil science.

- Format: Indicate whether the session will feature oral presentations, panel discussions, workshops, or any other interactive format.

- Proposed Speakers: List potential speakers (if any) you intend to invite, including their affiliations and a brief description of their contributions to the session.

Submission Process

Please submit your session proposal via wcss2026@issas.ac.cn by March 31, 2025. Proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and organizers will be notified of the outcome by May 31, 2025.
