As the host of the WCSS 2026, the SSSC ornamented the booth with gadgets featuring Chinese elements such as panda toys, paper pendants of blue and white porcelain and Peking opera masks, and pictures of attractive tourist destinations. Our staff enthusiastically introduced our diverse culture and soil types to visiting soil scientists and meantime invited them to the WCSS 2026 to be held in Nanjing, China. They expressed their interests in exploring soil classifications and the progress in soil sciences of China. The WCSS 2026 is aimed to provide a platform for world soil scientists to exchange their ideas, discoveries and visions in soil science, and an opportunity to explore China’s rich soil resources.
